Experience | Staycation At Azure

I was not really that familiar with the word "staycation".

Not until my friend brought this up about having our staycation at Azure Urban Beach Resort and Residences located at SLEX West Service Road, Bicutan, Paranaque, Manila, Philippines.

We rode an Uber to get to this place; however it is quite near SM Bicutan. If you see the mall [we came from Cainta/Marikina/Pasig area and passed the C-5 route] then you will know that you are near your destination.

I just simply thought staycation was staying at the comfort of your home during a vacation. 😆

But hell no.

When I searched about it, it is defined as "a vacation spent in one's home country rather than abroad, or one spent at home and involving day trips to local attractions."

Please don't judge me for my ignorance of this.

There are plenty of staycation offers for Azure when you search it on Google.

Ours was booked on Amazing Yuri's Place.

Honestly, I did not do the booking. It was my friend who organized it all. [Ignorance strike 2!]

It is a 1 BR unit in Positano Tower, Azure Urban Resort Residences which is good for 2 to 4 persons [max].

The bed is queen-size and there is a four-seater sofa bed too.

I can say that it is furnished well and almost all the basic things that you need are provided.

Kitchen cabinets and kitchenware, dining table and chairs, refrigerator, electric stove, microwave, rice cooker, electric kettle, clothes rack, iron+ironing board, bedding, pillows, 2 bath towels and toiletries, toilet and bath with water heater and a 40" LCD TV.

The room is fully air-conditioned with city view balcony [you can check out our low-quality room tour below].

Their weekday rate is Php 2,099 per overnight stay [from Monday to Thursday] and a weekend and holiday rate of Php 2,399 per overnight stay [from Friday to Sunday and holidays] as of this writing.

If you have your own car, the parking fee is Php 200 per overnight stay.

Their check-in is at 2:00 pm and check-out at 12:00 noon.

Their fee includes amenities such as the following:

  • Free pool access (all day swim pass) for the first two guests and Php 250/head per shift for succeeding guests (morning shift: 7AM to 12NN, afternoon shift: 2PM to 7PM)
  • Wave Pool (closed every Monday for maintenance)
  • Lap Pool
  • White sand beach w/ playground (closed every Monday for maintenance)
  • Skygarden roof-deck [we loved this one!]
  • Beach volleyball court
  • Poolside bar
  • Basketball court
  • Fitness Center/ Gym
  • Children's Playroom, Game Room and Movie Room

* Use of above amenities are subject to Azure's policies and regulations.

My English vocabulary is limited so I am not good at describing how much of a great experience and scenery Azure have.

I'd leave that to the expert reviewers and bloggers whom you can find online.

This staycation is best to be experienced in real life and see for yourself, that is all I can say. 😉

I was not even able to take pictures [except for few selfies] because I wanted to enjoy the moment, our precious 2 days and 1 night staycation at Azure. 💗

So credits to my friends for the shots below.

The pale above is worth watching when it fills up, for me as a child-hearted potato.

Nevermind our fats and focus on the white sand beach.

This is the Skygarden roof-deck that I am talking about. The view here is nice and refreshing.
It would be nice to see the sunset here as well.

P.S.

Our staycation took place on September 23, 2017. If you have been reading my past blog posts, you will know why I am posting this just now. Lol!
