GCash | Forest's New Trees

Did you know that GCash has added new trees in their GForest?

Before, we only have Yakal to plant.

But now, there are 2 more trees to choose from, namely, Narra and Dungon.

Narra is the National Tree of the Philippines, and, as per GCash's description, is best known for its bark that creates red dye called "Dragon's Blood".

Other than its bark, Narra's timber is of high quality and can be used from furniture to construction.

The Energy required to plant this tree is 9,411g.

Dungon, on the other hand, is, based on GCash's details, an indigenous species found only in the Philippines and Indonesia.

It is primarily used as lumber for construction and furniture with its wood so tough, it can even be used to create bulletproof shields!

The Energy required to plant this tree is 10,080g.

During the quarantine, I have accumulated enough to plant either of the two as I have used GCash more often now for cashless transactions, from paying bills to ordering online.

When I first saw it in the app last month, Dungon is available for planting.

But I guess due to high activity of using their services, a lot of people are able to accumulate energy to plant a tree.

And given the situation we are in right now I bet they are not able to plant it in real life (of course for safety reasons), and so maybe that is why they have to limit it for now.

The trees are out of stock as of the moment when I tap on them.

There is no notice yet as to when it will be available again.

So for now, let us just accumulate green energy like we normally do. 😅

And plant it all when the time comes.
