GCash | What Happens After Collecting Enough Green Energy in GForest?

Last year, I created a post about GCash Forest which you can read here.

From thereon, I have been using GCash for most of my transactions: paying bills, shopping online, buying load, bank transfers, and so on.

Upon doing so, I was able to collect more green energy.

Connecting health app is useless because I don't exercise much often and I think it does not work with GForest anymore as what the commenter in my previous post said.

So what happens after you have collected enough energy?
After 8 months, I was finally able to collect enough energy to plant Yakal, which is the only tree available yet in the app.

This requires 20,560g energy.

So how does it work within the app?

I tapped on the Plant button beside my energy balance:

And chose Yakal, well there is nothing else to choose from as yet:

This shows the tree details and you can tap on the Plant Now button:

A message pops up, of course let us tap Let's go! as I am excited to see what happens next:

It says next that I have earned a badge:

Curious as to what it means, I tapped on the badge again to view the certificate they are referring to and tadaaa, they awarded me a certificate for my achievement 😀:

At may certificate number pa talaga. 😄

I believe due to the current situation right now, WWF won't be able to it plant soon in the Ipo Watershed.

But hopefully, once the situation gets better, it will be planted in real life.

How I wish I can join them with the tree-planting activity once it resumes!

For now, you can read their tree-planting activity in partnership with GCash, which happened last year on this article of WWF.
