We're on the last day of 2019 and I still haven't got the chance to grasp everything that has happened to me this year.

Lots of roller coaster rides in life but still managed to live it with positivity and optimism.

Palawan Trip | Day 3: Baywalk Park, Crocodile Farm & Baker's Hill

Our last day in Palawan was meant for city tour.

Buti solo na rin namin ulit ang van for this.

First stop is the Baywalk Park.

I actually have nothing to say here because we only stayed around 15 minutes.

Another new experience that has been ticked off from my list: Ride a plane!

Although I'm a salimpusa in the trip, walang makakapigil sa'kin. Hahaha


It was actually a trip of Auntie Zen and her friends which they have long since talked and planned about and luckily I was spared of generosity and they included me when they booked it on 12 September. Nakalibre ang lola niyo. Thank you po!

It's a 3-days and 2-nights Palawan trip starting from 25th to 27th of October.

After my post before about my PRC license renewal way back in 2016, it is that time again for my second renewal.

PRC License Renewal at Robinsons Galleria as easy as 1, 2, 3!

The difference this time is that the CPD units are now mandatory for the renewal of license.

A lot of professionals are aching for the required units for each profession, especially us, CPAs, as the required units as per the CPD law for our profession is 120 units!

But thanks to the guidelines released and effective last 01 March 2019, the required units are now down to 15 units for renewing CPAs as long as the BOA hasn't released its own guidelines for CPAs.

Experience | A Very Meaningful Week

Right after the short getaway we've done, I have been up to so many things in the background that I forgot what topic to share for this week!

After skipping investment for the last 2 cycles, they now included Squash (Growers) and Watermelon (Growers) in the products available for this current cycle so I reinvested my funds.

Last 22 April, the 22nd cycle opened which will last until 07 June and the start of real farming will be on 15 July, 2019.

And since Jul and Mot are coming home for vacation (mga OFW na sila), we took the chance to meet up and bond when they arrive.

Basta ang sabi ni Jul, April 07-09 lang siya pwede with us while Mot can't come (she'll be watching BTS in Thailand 😆)

Last 28 March I received an email from FarmOn that my product has been harvested.

Basically, FarmOn 2.0 is an improved version of FarmOn 1.0, but in a different level.

First thing though, even though they have introduced FarmOn 2.0, I haven't received any news that the old FarmOn investment process (or the now called FarmOn 1.0) will be removed. (Although I'm not sure when will they open the next cycle for it)

As I visited the FAQ section on FarmOn's website, it has now been divided between 1.0 and 2.0.

GCash | Reaching PayPal Pre-approved Payment Limit

Cashing in from PayPal to GCash has been like an ordinary routine for me whenever I need cash for paying bills, withdrawing money or sending money to my family.

Just when I tapped on Confirm the amount I'm cashing in, for my family's needs, last 25 March, a message appeared informing me that I have reached my PayPal pre-approved payment limit.

Renting a Bike in Marikina City

This has been put off for so many times already until finally, Diane made it happen last 09 March.

(Siya kasi ang may alam kung saan. And she's the one who reallyyy wants to bike. 😝 But in the end, I'm the one who really enjoyed it.)

PayPal | Confirming Identity

Last 09 February, as I was doing transactions from my PayPal account as I usually do, cashing-in to GCash, I received an email from them with a subject "Please complete your identity confirmation".

Part of PayPal's email said "As part of our continuous efforts in complying with regulatory requirements, we need you to confirm your identity at a particular milestone with us. You're about to reach this milestone with the total transactions on your account approaching your account limit."

And to confirm my identity, I needed to provide more information.

1. Confirmed Online Appointment
2. Personal Appearance
3. Accomplished Application Form
4. Original Copy of PSA Authenticated Birth Certificate on security paper (in short, yung birth cert mo from PSA. Haha)
5. 1 photocopy of Valid ID

I started completing my requirements way back in November 2018 (from getting my PSA birth certificate to confirming my online appointment)

(I can't share the details about the process in getting the birth certificate because nakisabit lang ako sa pagkuha ng aunt ko ng birth certificate niya. So I totally have no idea how she got it delivered to her office 😅)

So for the first requirement, I went to https://www.passport.gov.ph/ for my online appointment.

As I was looking at DFA's appointment schedules for December 2018, there were only weekday schedules para sa malalapit na DFA Consular sa amin.

This was way back in November 2018.

Blogging Schedule Change

As we enter the month of February, I would like to make a change with my blogging schedule.

It has been noticeable that I am consistently not able to meet my current posting schedule every Friday at 12 noon....

Christmas is a season for gift-giving. (I'm not limiting it only to that though)

And I, myself, was part of that season, not just as a giver, but also a receiver of gifts.

I wasn't really expecting anything but when my client asked for my address in early December, medyo nagkaroon na ng hint ang lola niyo.

But as we neared the end of our work hours for the year (we talked on 20 December that our last meeting for the year will be on 21 December and we'll see each other again the next year), my client opened up that she has intended to surprise me with a gift but ever since the parcel has arrived in the Philippines, she hasn't heard/got any update about it from the courier.

Experience | Color Manila Run 2019

Another new experience~!

After months of waiting and preparation (been jogging/walking at Marikina Sports Center every Friday to condition my body for the run), Color Manila Year 7 has finally come! It was held last 06 January 2019, Sunday, at the SM MOA Event Grounds.

But before I share my experience with the event itself, let me share the registration we've gone through too.

Vacation | Day 2 - Patar Beach and Bolinao Falls

(Paalala: Photos are to be uploaded over the weekend. Gahol na sa orassss. My mind was left on the holiday break and hindi pa bumabalik. Pakisauli po sa akin kapag napulot niyo please. xD)

Part 2 of our getaway trip to Pangasinan is in Bolinao which is an hour-drive away from Alaminos city.

Since we ended our Hundred Island trip earlier than expected (supposed until 3:00 PM ang tour pero around 2:30 PM pa lang nakabalik na kami ng Lucap Wharf), tumuloy na kami sa Bolinao to rest and prepare for our Pabeeda Christmas party later the night.

Actually ang nasa voucher ng Hundred Island trip namin is hanggang 5:00 PM but that means 5:00 PM dapat nakabalik na ng Lucap Wharf para makaiwas sa high tide.

Although I just said Bolinao is an hour away from Alaminos city, it took us 2 hours to get to the inn (ang layo niya pre).
