Life | Tell Me I Made Some Progress

Year 2017 is coming to an end and we are about to welcome the new year, 2018!

When I think about my year as a whole, I don't feel like a lot has happened to me.

But if I enumerate things that, for me, has been meaningful for this year, then I realize that this year has been one hell of a ride.

GCash | Pay Bills Options

I had trouble paying our water bill for this month using the GCash app.

The fields you need to fill up before was just your contract account number and the amount.

However when I tried to pay last December 13, an Account name was added and whenever I try to type in it, nothing happens or shows and I can't submit my payment without filling that up (I tried to submit it but I keep getting an 'Invalid' message).

So I ended up missing the due date.

FarmOn | 14th Cycle Harvest (Pekin Duck)

Na-harvest na ba ang 14th cycle crops mo? How's the return?

Umappear yung akin noong December 15th.

In fairness, nakareceive din ako ng email from FarmOn informing me about it.

VA Bootcamp | My 1st and 2nd Week

As a recap, I enrolled in Jason Dulay's VA Bootcamp last November 21 and started taking the modules on November 23.

You can check it out >>here<<.

I have done modules 1-5 and there are eight (8) more to go to finish the Virtual Assistant boot camp and proceed to the Accelerated Lessons.

With the five (5) modules I completed, I was able to obtain four (4) Credly badges [because the first module is just an introduction].

Game | Mystic Messenger Review / Reaction

This app always appears for a year now whenever I log in Play Store.

From the reviews I read when this app was still new, people complain about getting chats in the middle of the night or at dawn.

And I was like, "Then sleep it off, people."

But a year later, this November to be exact, I got bored, saw this again in the recommended page while looking for some game to pass the time and installed the app thinking there is nothing to lose in trying it.

Wrong. Choice. Of. Move.

I was dead wrong in thinking that way.

There is nothing to lose, I said?

I LOST HOURS OF SLEEP BECAUSE OF THIS APP!

Experience | Enrolling at VA Bootcamp

This will be my biggest self-investment so far.

I am actually a thrifty person and I always think a hundred times before spending my hard-earned, limited money on to something.

Finally, on November 21, after contemplating and exchanging a few emails with Jason [or maybe his assistant replying using his email] about my doubts, I enrolled on his VA Bootcamp Accelerated course.

*VA stands for Virtual Assistant

Experience | Warning: Not Worthwhile to be Read

These past few days was good for many since it has been a l-o-o-o-o-n-g vacation for them.

But not for me.

Experience | Staycation At Azure

I was not really that familiar with the word "staycation".

Not until my friend brought this up about having our staycation at Azure Urban Beach Resort and Residences located at SLEX West Service Road, Bicutan, Paranaque, Manila, Philippines.

We rode an Uber to get to this place; however it is quite near SM Bicutan. If you see the mall [we came from Cainta/Marikina/Pasig area and passed the C-5 route] then you will know that you are near your destination.

I just simply thought staycation was staying at the comfort of your home during a vacation. 😆

But hell no.

When I searched about it, it is defined as "a vacation spent in one's home country rather than abroad, or one spent at home and involving day trips to local attractions."

Please don't judge me for my ignorance of this.

There are plenty of staycation offers for Azure when you search it on Google.

Ours was booked on Amazing Yuri's Place.

[Problem] PLDT: Landline, No Dial-Tone; No Internet Connection

I have been dreaming about finally meeting the "one" and sharing our future love story here in my blog.

Never in my dreams have I dreamed of a story between me and my ISP and sharing it here in my blog.

And to think that this is actually happening to me right now.

FarmOn | October Encashment Request

Ever since my experience of withdrawing my very first investment on FarmOn way back on 2015, I have not withdrawn any thereafter [here is that post].

This October, after failing on reinvesting my balance for the 15th cycle in September, I have decided to withdraw some and I can say it has improved compared to before.

I requested a withdrawal last October 06 via my FarmOn account by clicking the withdraw button below my Vault Summary on the right corner of the screen.

Clixsense | Withdrawal to GCash

Ever since the removal of PayPal option in withdrawing ClixSense earnings, I keep on looking for other ways to withdraw it with a minimal fee.

My first option before was to use Payoneer.

However, it costs $2 [fixed] transaction fee to withdraw from ClixSense to Payoneer.

And although the minimum threshold to withdraw from ClixSense is $10, the minimum withdrawal in your Payoneer account is $20. [And there are still other fees.]

Maybe this will be the best option for high earners but since I am just a small timer yet who withdraws minimum amounts, I thought Payoneer was not the one I need at this time.

Fortunately as I was reading some forum posts from our fellow Pinoy ClixSense earners, somebody shared how she withdraws her earnings from ClixSense to GCash.

FarmOn | Is BACK~

Upon checking their website today, yes!  Farmon's website is now back up and running.

Although hindi pa naibabalik ang SSL nila for secure connection, kaya hindi pa ako nagla-log in para i-check ang aking account.

At sa pagbabalik ng kanilang website, mayroon ding nawala.

ClixSense | Update: Bad News and Good News

There were so many updates on ClixSense ever since I last posted my experience with it.

The first thing na I was concerned of, which I also included in my previous post, is the removal of PayPal as one of their payment method.

But they added Payoneer instead.

However, Payoneer's minimum cash out is $20 and the fee costs $2 fixed.

So ever since PayPal has been removed, I haven't cashed out yet in the hope that PayPal will be returned in the options in the future.

As for this month of July, a huge change on ClixSense occurred.

Uunahin ko na ang bad news.

The bad news (for me) is that on July 01, ClixSense has announced this (I will only post a little bit of it) :

My E-book Had Its First Sale~!

Napakababaw talaga ng kaligayahan ko.

I published an e-book early last year on Lulu (which is available on their bookstore, on Apple iBookstore and Barnes & Noble's NOOK) sharing my techniques on how I survived Accountancy as a student.

Because you know, I was just a typical student who spent most of my time on leisure and fun.

In Accountancy, we balance things, we balance Debits and Credits.

It is (for me) mostly about balancing.

And as a student, we're at the age of exploring different things, we wanted to enjoy life and have fun, but at the same, makapasa sa lahat ng subjects [to pass all of the subjects], especially the major ones, at the end of every semester.

In my book, I shared how I balanced both without compromising anything.

FarmOn | 13th Cycle Harvest (Watermelon)

Last cycle (the 13th), I put my investment on Watermelon, which has a harvest duration of 3 to 4 months.

I invested it in two (2) farms, which I unfortunately forgot to note. 😆

The start of actual land farming was on March 15, 2017 (as stated in the contract) and my profit reflected on my account on June 07, 2017.

FarmOn | Frequently Asked Questions - Harvest & Withdrawal

[*Update as of October 2017: FarmOn finally added a FAQ on their website. Check it here!]

I am just an old FarmOner who wants to help FarmOn by addressing the common inquiries of the new FarmOners and potential investors.

You can see the Part 1 of FAQs I wrote about registration here.

Now, after your investment has been reflected in your account, the next thing you'll be curious about is the harvest of your crops.

FarmOn | Frequently Asked Questions - Registration

[*Update as of October 2017: FarmOn finally added a FAQ on their website. Check it here!]

As an old FarmOner, I read a lot of the same questions asked on the forum.

So I decided to summarize those frequently asked questions here to help others understand and ease the pain of scrolling all the forum posts to look for the answer.

1. What is FarmOn.ph?
     - Based on their 'About Us' page, "FarmOn.ph is a crowdfunding community where people can help farmers on their financial needs and at the same time reap rewards for their contributions. FarmOn.ph was developed by Sproads, a web publishing company based in Manila."

In simple terms, you (a FarmOner) invest money on a crop and a real farmer will plant it and take care of it until harvest time.  Upon harvest, their agent will sell the crop and the proceeds will be divided unto you, the agent, and FarmOn.  As of the latest cycle, FarmOn has required new registrants to include in their registration their referrer's email.  (You'll know the reason as we proceed with the questions.) And the Referrer receives 1% of their referral's profit.

FarmOn's 14th Cycle | Scheduled Maintenance

I've been a FarmOner since 5th cycle.
Usually, nagko-conduct talaga ang FarmOn ng website maintenance.
But first time kong ma-experience na mag-down ang website nila sa pag-oopen ng bago nilang cycle.
This might be because of the increased interested investors na gustong magregister plus the recurring investors na magrereinvest ng kanilang funds.
Ngayon lang ako nag-open ng email kaya ngayon ko lang nakita ang notification nila ng opening for their 14th cycle yesterday around 4pm.
I realized na marami......mas dumami ang nakaabang ngayon sa pag-oopen ng new cycle ni FarmOn.
Sobrang in demand, kumbaga.
Dapat pala hindi na papetiks petiks sa paghihintay ng opening ngayon at baka maubusan ng product or mas mapatagal ang pagreceive ng contract sa dami ng nagrerequest. 😆

Ways on How to Earn Money Online | Effective Nga Ba?

Internet.

Sabi nila napakalaki ng potential ng internet para kumita ng pera.

Maraming nagpapatunay na they were freed from being a corporate slave by doing their business thru the internet.

May isang kumikita by selling products online, specifically e-books.

  1. Selling e-books or other products
  2.  Affiliate marketing
  3. Blogging (and monetizing it)
  4.  Uploading videos on Youtube (and monetizing it)

Lent | Fast Recipe for Fasting People

It's that time of the year again.

The Lenten season, that is.

A season of fasting and prayer.

It is when we abstain from eating meat on a Friday.

And yeah, it is Friday today. 😆

I was kind of lazy to cook some fish for my lunch.

It kind of takes much of my time when I'm cooking so I chose to cook some fast meal instead.

And I was surprised on how it blended well on my taste buds that I went here after finishing my meal to share this experience. 😃

Buying at Payless.ph - How was it?

(This was drafted way back in December 2016.  Sorry for publishing it late, I forgot!)

I saw Payless' ad of its website while I was just randomly scrolling on Facebook.

This was a nice coincidence since I was really planning to buy a new heels that I'll wear for my pamangkin's upcoming wedding on the 29th of December 2016 as a guest.  And one of my choices is going to a Payless store because their shoes have half sizes. (my size is 7.5 x'D)

Luckily I found this fringe heel originally priced at P 1,950, now on sale (P 390) on their website!
