I Turned 30 (Enchanted Kingdom and Summit Ridge Tagaytay)

Soooo yeah.

As straightforward as it can be, I just turned 30.

For the younger generation, I may be old for them.

For the older ones, I may still be a baby.

For me, I actually don’t know where I stand.

Have I matured enough to be called an adult?

Or still a childish, spoiled brat?

I think I’m in the middle.

Depending on the situation, I can act maturely or childishly.

Nonetheless, I am already 30!!!

Aside from my birthday, it marked our first month as a married couple.

We had a lot of options in mind on how we will celebrate, but we settled, just a week before it, on spending the whole day of Sunday in the Enchanted Kingdom and then spending the night in Summit Ridge Tagaytay.

So it was kind of short notice, but thankfully my client approved my 2 days off (Mon-Tue).

We did not pack much because the hotel will provide the essentials.

I only packed my change of clothes.

We arrived at the Enchanted Kingdom on Sunday around 11:10 AM.

And got in around 11:20 AM.

He bought his ticket online beforehand, while mine was FREE because it's my birth month. 🥳

As per EK's website, I would need to bring my birth certificate and one (1) valid I.D.

Good thing they accepted my driver's license and have not asked for my birth certificate because I forgot to bring it!

It even stressed me out on the way because I only remembered it while I was chatting with my friends.

So yeah.

One (1) valid I.D. is enough, folks (as long as your birth date is on it, I guess?).

Aside from the green wrist tag, they gave me this card (itagong mabuti dahil kakailanganin pala ito for re-entry kung sakaling lalabas ng EK) and a discount coupon (which we used when we dined at Amazon Grill).

They also gave a map of EK which you can see from my hubby's hand.

I only saw two (2) colors of wrist tags, one was green which was for those that have birthdays, and the other one was purple for VIPs.

The regular passes did not have a wrist tag, but I think they used an invisible mark on their arms.

Our first ride was the Bump N' Splash.

Haha

Yun kasi ang walang pila.

Aapat nga lang ata kaming nag-ride nun nung time na yun. Yung dalawa ay mag-ama. Lol

Next was Dodgem (my favorite ride kahit saan man pumunta, basta bumper car, haha).

This time medyo mahaba haba na ang ipinila namin.

Too bad the ride only lasted for less than 3 minutes.

Sunod naman kaming pumila sa Roller Skater.

I was sooo excited dahil ang nasa isip ko, heto na, nagsisimula na kaming sumakay sa exciting rides.

I thought pang-warm up lang yung mga nauna.

But I was wrong. Very, very wrong.

After nung Roller Skater, ayaw na niyang sumakay sa ibang extreme rides!

We had our lunch at the Amazon Grill (where we used the discount coupon) since it was already quarter to 1:00 PM.

Also ordered a small carrot cake for my birthday. Teehee!

After we had our fill, lumabas muna kami para magpalit ng damit.

Medyo umaambon na nung time na yun.

Then nagpunta kami sa Skill Games zone, and nanood ng nagbibilliard.

Haha

Pinanood na lang namin sila eh.

Sakto na rin dahil lahat kami sumilong sa (I don't know what it's called, Food court? Maraming food stores and may stage) kaya maraming nanood sa show nung mga performers.

He played the 'Break and Run' for Php 50 (the billiard game na pinapanood namin bago umulan) sayang at naconscious siya nung marami nang nanonood sa kanya. Lol!

He also tried the 'Balloon Dart'.

Gusto sana naming kunin yung pinakamalaki, kaso nung tinanong namin kung ilang beses namin kailangan magputok ng balloon para makuha yun, 25 times daw!

Eh Php 50 per game, so ano, gagastos kami ng Php 1,250?

Kinuha na lang namin si Froggy which is the prize for popping two (2) balloons. It costed us Php 100.

We also tried the 'Ring Toss', but no luck.

I did my best, but I guess my best wasn’t good enough. #Ansabe? 😆

Hindi pa rin tumitila ang ulan, although hindi na ganoon kalakas, kaya napabili na rin kami ng raincoat for Php 81 each (I'm only guessing kasi siya ang bumili and ang nakita kong payment niya sa GCash is Php 162 😆).

May baon akong rain coat actually, kaso ayaw niyang suotin kasi may tatak ng Bear Brand. HAHAHA

At yung isa ko pang dala was free from SM Hypermarket nung naggrocery kami, kaso sobrang nipis pala at mukhang basura. 😅

Saktong muni muni muna then we’re back again sa rides.

Very timely na nakarain coat na kami because ang sunod naming sinakyan ay ang Rio Grande.

Tawa ko lang sa kanya dahil hindi niya inayos yung kapote niya habang nakaupo, so pagpasok ng tubig ay nabasa yung inuupuan niya and siyempre, damay ang shorts niya. HAHAHA

We also went to see the ‘Agila the EKsperience’.

I did not do my research before going here, so akala ko literal na makakakita kami ng agila.

My husband said it’s in 5D, and ang engeng ko para isipin na mala-hologram ang maeexperience ko. Sorna ✌️

It was a nice experience though, and also nasurprise ako, dahil nga wala akong idea about this.

Too bad filming was not allowed inside, even cameras.

And I think that’s the last ride na sinakyan namin. ☹️

The very last na ginawa namin is to watch in Rialto 4D.

Almost the same experience sa Agila, but dito hindi na mawawala bigla yung tinatapakan mo and wala nang wisik wisik in the face. Just one tusok at the back. HAHAHA

As a remembrance, gusto kong mag-uwi ng Eldar merch as a souvenir.

And also an Eldar ref magnet.

We wanted to buy t-shirts din sana kaso wala siyang natipuhang design.

Too bad.

But hindi na bale since we ought to return pa naman with friends, para raw masakyan ko yung mga gusto kong sakyan and kukunan na lang daw niya kami sa baba. 😆

Magsi-7PM na nung bumiyahe kami papuntang Tagaytay to check in.

We arrived at the Summit Ridge Tagaytay around 8:15PM.

Medyo malabo dahil sa fog.

He booked this via Klook few days ahead.

Requirement lang upon checking in is a valid ID and vaccination card.

Let me just share with you some photos of our room.

There's a ref, T.V. and coffee maker.

They have vault, 2 hangers, 2 slippers and a laundry bag.

Hand soap

Each kit has cotton pads and buds, hair cap, toothbrush and toothpaste.

Hair dryer is life.

Conditioning shampoo and body wash.

Haha

And he ordered another one which I can't remember kung saan.

This is the view from our room.

What I liked about them is the complimentary buffet breakfast.

If you want some eggs, they have an egg station sa labas.

Just tell them how you would like it cooked, and they will make it for you.

There are different options for filling like ham, cheese, mushroom, onions, etc.

Sorry! Hindi ko napicturan yung station. 🤦‍♀️

But I was able to take a photo of my egg. 🤪

After we had our breakfast, hayahay na lang kami sa room until checkout.

Kaya niyo ba yon? Ha? Ha?

😆 sorry, inosente.✌️

And saktong pictorial na rin with the cake he ordered from Cafe Mary Grace last night.

Hanggang sa pag-uwi. Haha

Dumaan na rin muna kami sa Cecilia’s for pasalubong and sa SM East Ortigas para magfood trip.

Kung umuwi na kami ng Monday, bakit hanggang Tuesday ang ni-leave ko, you might ask....hmmmm...wala lang. Hahaha

To adjust myself mentally siguro from a quick vacation to going back to work? 😄

But honestly, akala ko kasi hanggang Tuesday ang adventure namin. 😅

And mabuti na rin yun, because we had the next day to finally get our marriage contract from the church and then get a certified true copy from Marikina City Hall.

Yun para sa akin yung reality, na we are officially married, because we now have the papers. 😁

I wanted to ponder more about my birthday but I think masyado nang mahaba itong post na ito, so I’ll leave it here.

Just, hoooray for another year in my life~! 🥳

😄 Thank you very much~!
