I'm proud to say this, lumampas na ako sa kalendaryo. 🥳😆
Of course.
In our generation today, paikli na ng paikli ang buhay, so every year that gets added to our age is an achievement in itself.
So many challenges to face.
So many things to think about.
So many decisions to make.
So many sources of stress.
But I'm happy to say, I am happy, contented and peaceful at where I am today. 🫶
That is the most important para mas marami pa tayong magawa sa buhay.
This year, we celebrated it simply at the house.
I was surprised and amazed na nakapagpadala pa ng gift ang colleagues ko kahit sobrang bario na ng kinaroroonan ko. 🫢
They sent me a bouquet of flowers from Flowerstore.ph. 💐
And a gift card from Gifted.ph.
It took me a while to make this post kasi I also wanted to share kung saan ko nagamit ito.
And since nakapagpost na ako ngayon means nagamit ko na nga yung gift card. Lol
The gift card I received was meant to be spent at anything.
So what I did first was to claim it through the email I received from Gifted.
After claiming the amount, it was added to my Gifted wallet.
I already have an account in Gifted dahil sa prize na nareceive ko dati nung nagbingo kami. So yeah. Haha
I first considered redeeming it to a Robinsons Appliance voucher dahil microwave oven ang naisip kong paggamitan nitong gift.
Buti na lang at pumunta muna kami sa Robinsons Calasiao and wala pala kaming magugustuhan doon, so I didn't continue.
Then I considered redeeming it to a SM voucher.
But as I scrolled through the list of brands in Gifted, I saw GCash on the list!
So I decided to redeem it as a GCash voucher. That way, I wouldn't worry na isakto sa amount ng voucher yung price ng bibilhin ko.
What is tedious in Gifted is that every transaction from claiming the gift card to redeeming it as a voucher, it needed an OTP! Every. Single. Time.
And the redemption of GCash voucher only had 2 options.
Either a P500 or P1000 voucher.
Eh medyo malaki yung binigay. 🙏
So I had to redeem the P1000 GCash voucher multiple times, and as mentioned, it needed an OTP each time!
Sinubukan ko muna ng isang beses.
I redeemed P1000 GCash voucher muna as a trial and I received this email from Gifted after a few hours.
I viewed the voucher code and followed the steps on it on how I can claim to my GCash account.
I entered the order #, my GCash number, my GCash registered name and email on the fields, and got this email after I submitted it.
After successful redemption, I received the P1000 in my GCash account in 1 business day.
I redeemed it on a weekend, August 10, and I received it on Monday, August 12.
Since the first try was successful, I tried to redeem another half of the total amount from my Gifted wallet.
I redeemed multiple P1000 GCash voucher on August 14, which again, requested an OTP each time.
And it got sent as a lump sum amount to my GCash account the next day, August 15.
Since nakalump sum na palang marereceive yun, I redeemed all of the amount from my wallet the next time.
The gift card by the way does have a 10% merchant fee.
So for example, if I redeemed a P500 GCash voucher, a P50 fee will be deducted from the amount that I will receive.
But since my client purchased it as a 'gift card plus', she shouldered all the merchant fee and it got added to the total amount she paid.
So I received my vouchers in full amount. 🥰
After more than a week of claiming and entering OTPs, my hubby and I finally purchased a microwave oven at SM Urdaneta during their 3-day sale last weekend.
And aside from the oven, we were also able to buy a bundle pack of stand fan and desk fan.
Please don't mind the bare under sink. 😅 |
So we are happyyyyyyy~! 😄
I'm very grateful to have this team, not only because of the gifts and surprises we do every year, but also because of the camaraderie that we have built through the years. 🤗
Oh, and I won't also forget my hubby's effort for my birthday na natapat kasi sa weekday.
We didn't get to eat out because I had so many things to do, kaya nag-ala master chef itong asawa ko para sa homemade dinner date namin. 👨🍳
😍😋 |
Good thing also that we already bought this ice cream cake beforehand, with a 10% discount being my birth month.
And since it was also an 8.8 sale, I secretly bought a gift for myself. 🤭
Something that I've been wanting to buy after I graduated from college, but it was too expensive for me.
But I saw a super great deal from their official store on my birthday, so checkout agad! Haha
Heto oh~ 🤩
And that sums up my birthday this year.
~~~~
Oh, and did I tell you that I saved a vase from my hubby's gift to me from our anniversary in 2020?
This was a photo from 2020:
And I used it again this time para paglagyan ng flowers na nareceive ko. ☺️
This is not sponsored by them, but let me tell you that I looooove Flower Patch. ❤️
If you're within their serviceable area and wanting to buy a surprise for someone, do check them out.
You will not regret it. 😉
