Laneige has me spending for MORE! 🥴

 I didn't imagine myself going down a rabbit hole, but here I am. 😅

It all started on my birthday, when I ordered Laneige's Neo Cushion Matte during their 8.8 Exclusive sale.

I have been wanting to have this since I can't remember when, so when I stumbled across their Lazada official store with a good price, I checked it out on my birthday.

It arrived three days later and it came with some freebies.

The Neo Cushion Matte also has a refill included in the box, so for its price, I'm gonna be able to use this for a long time.

But what started my 'spending phase' is the Water Bank Blue Hyaluronic Cleansing trial kit.

After I used it to remove the Neo Cushion Matte on my face, man, I loooooved it! 😍

At first I was so lazy to try it because it is a 3-step cleansing method.

Yung paghihilamos nga lang ng tubig, tamad na ako, 3-step method pa kaya? 😅

I didn't like the cleansing oil because it feels, you know, oily.

But it does a very good job in removing the makeup on my face.

The cleansing foam continues the next step to remove any makeup residue and it kind of removes the oilines I feel on my face too.

And to finalize the cleansing routine, I wash my face with the cleansing gel which is my favorite part.

It leaves a fresh and smooth feeling on my face after.

My face also feels hydrated when I do this cleansing routine.

The lip sleeping mask was a thing I didn't know I need because I was using lip balms on my chapped lips, but boy I was so wrong about this as well.

It rescued my long suffering chapped lips in just an overnight of usage, and I'm using it on the cut under my nose too (which is due to me having to constantly wipe my nose).

After a month of using the cleansing trial kit, I was running out of cleansing oil and gel.

They had an exclusive 9.9 sale for Water Bank Serum set, so I thought I'll try to add that to my routine.

So during the 9.9 sale, I ordered the cleasing oil, cleansing gel, and also the serum.

These are all under the Water Bank series because I have a very dry skin, and this hydrates my skin very well.

Again, it arrived three days after I ordered and to my shock, the regular bottles are huge!

The 3 small ones are serums as well, freebies of the big serum one.

Now, I think because I reached the threshold so they also included a Water Bank Blue Hyaluronic 5-Step Essential Kit for Normal to Dry Skin on the package.

And I hate it because my skin loved it! 💸

I applied it in this order after cleansing: Toner, Emulsion, Eye cream, Serum, Cream.

At first, it felt heavy and sticky so I reduced the amount I apply afterwards.

The least I like from this five is the emulsion because this is the one giving me that heavy and sticky feeling. So I'll just finish this small bottle off and probably skip buying this one.

What I liked the most from this essential kit though are the toner and serum. 😍

Both of these gave my skin that hydrating and fresh feeling.

So even though I bought that regular bottle of serum without even testing out a small one, I think that's a great decision I did for myself.

And, fast forward to today, after 3 months, I'm running out of the essential kit.

But I'll skip the emulsion, eye cream, and cream. I'll just finish what's left of the trial kit for these.

Serum, I still have the big bottle and some small ones.

So during the 12.12 sale, I checked out the 160ml  bottle of Water Bank Toner and also a promo for 2 Water Bank Cleansing Foam.

As usual, it arrived 3 days later. 👌

But to my shock, more freebies were included in the box.

Hello Emulsion, we met again. 😅

Another set of cleansing trial kit.

The Water Bank Emulsion which I'm avoiding. 😆

A small Water Bank Cleansing foam and Moisture Cream.

Three Water Bank creams that I cannot use because it is for Combination and Oily skin types.

And a different series, Radian-C, effector and cream.

I searched how to use the Radian-C products, and it looks too much work because they said since it has Vitamin C, I would also need to apply sunscreen on top of it.

I'll probably just use it at night when there's no sun to be safe. 😆

I think I already have everything I need, so this is enough spending for me this year.

I already have the regular bottles for cleansing oil, cleansing foam, cleansing gel, toner, and serum.

I think this is enough for my regimen, and will just use in between these the other freebies I got.

But I think I already found the primary products that my skin and I enjoy using.

No worries if you have a combination or oily skin type and would like to try their Water Bank series, because they have these products for that skin type as well. 

Just make sure to read the skin type stated on the product description because they do look the same.😉

P.S. I got sick yesterday 🤒 and still in recovery phase today, but I think this gave me the opportunity to log back in here and write this blog post. 

So perhaps that was a blessing in disguise because I had to stop doing anything because my whole body aches alongside my high fever, and made me think of the things I did before I got so busy with work and life in general. 😌

Is there a way I can find balance again? Not thinking and worrying too much about work and doing what I enjoy? 🤔

Because even though I'm on a weeklong leave this week, I still think and worry about work...even though I paused the notification. 😅
