Vacation | Day 2 - Patar Beach and Bolinao Falls

(Paalala: Photos are to be uploaded over the weekend. Gahol na sa orassss. My mind was left on the holiday break and hindi pa bumabalik.

Part 2 of our getaway trip to Pangasinan is in Bolinao which is an hour-drive away from Alaminos city.

You can check out the Part 1 here: Vacation | Day 1 - Hundred Islands, Pangasinan

Since we ended our Hundred Island trip earlier than expected (supposed until 3:00 PM ang tour pero around 2:30 PM pa lang nakabalik na kami ng Lucap Wharf), tumuloy na kami sa Bolinao to rest and prepare for our Pabeeda Christmas party later the night.

Actually ang nasa voucher ng Hundred Island trip namin is hanggang 5:00 PM but that means 5:00 PM dapat nakabalik na ng Lucap Wharf para makaiwas sa high tide.

Although I just said Bolinao is an hour away from Alaminos city, it took us 2 hours to get to the inn (ang layo niya pre).

We arrived at KNB West Villa Inn around 4:40 PM and nagtulog na hanggang 7:00 PM!!!

The room is neat, saktong tuluyan para sa mga naghahanap lang ng matutulugan. The bathroom is clean as well.

Again, as a lousy blogger, what would you expect? I forgot to take pictures of the inn!!!!! *face palm*

But you can check them out on Facebook.

Our room has one double deck and a bed (queen bed, I guess? Good for 2 persons yung bed). We took 2 rooms. One room for 4 pax and another one for 2 pax.

That is their room rates posted in their Facebook account, but it will be better to send them a message dahil that post is dated 31 October 2018. Nakapromo sila nung nagbook kami. 😃

Provided inside the room is a small table, 2 pillows each bed with blanket, a small electric fan although the room has an air conditioner, and a bathroom.

There's a common kitchen downstairs (it is an open area), with gas stove, 2 sinks, with plates, mugs, knives, utensils, cooking materials like pans, etc. Basta clean as you go.

May nadaanan kaming Andok's noong papunta kami ng inn so bumili na rin kami ng ulam, may mga sari-sari store din along the way so nakapamili na kami doon ng iba pang kailangan, (drinks, bigas, etc.)

And after all the preparations, we started our Christmas party in the evening. 😃

Fast forward....

Come next day, we started our Bolinao itinerary.

What we did first thing in the morning is to check out Patar White Sand beach.

We haven't had our breakfast yet. As in pagkabangon, usap usap ng konti then nilakad na namin papuntang Patar beach para tingnan. That's around 7:00 AM I think?

Ang plano lang is to "check" kung maganda ba para kung oo, edi magpiprepare kami para magswimming, but kung hindi edi tutuloy na kami sa next itinerary.

Ang sinasabi kasi sa amin is that mabato daw siya, hindi raw enjoy magswimming dahil masakit sa paa, etc.

But ang sumalubong sa amin ay ito:

Ito ba? Ito ba yung sinisiraan niyo sa amin?

It was so inviting that we easily gave in!

Clarisse had to travel back to Manila after last night's party so we were down to 5 people.
And that was the most bitin 1-hour of my life and the most memorable event in our trip, at least for me, I guess.. 😆

I had lots of fun throwing seaweeds at them. Charot.
The water is warm and very clear.

People are few (maybe because sobrang aga pa?).

Diane posing for her I.G., with my pajama stealing the spotlight.
I'm sorry, I just had to ruin Diane's Instagram worthy pose.
Here she's yelling at me for photo-bombing while on my sleepwear.
And everything is so refreshing.

Me: Guys, really, it's really, really refreshing. Believe me~
This is our interpretation of "refreshing".

And with the sand so pure, siyempre kailangan may ibaon kami doon.

And there, the sand was stained...

But at least we left a mark.

We headed back to the inn ng basa and decided to prepare breakfast ng ganoon din ang itsura. Magswimming ba naman ng walang tuwalya. 😂

Oh right, did I mention that KNB West Villa has a store in front? So you can buy your food and what-knot there, like we did.

Mabait pa si Ate that she provided some condiments that we can use sa common kitchen.

We had our breakfast sa common videoke (it is located outside the rooms, nasa gitna actually) dahil mahaba ang table nila doon, nang suot pa ang pinangswimming namin sa beach. 😅

That's what I have learned to accept when I am with my friends.....when we are together, expect yourself to look silly, to sound silly and to do silly things...but hey, you're not alone, because we all are! (Be it consciously or unconsciously. Sigh)

Our checkout time was supposed to be at 11:00 AM, but looking at our 2nd day itinerary, it would be impossible to beat that kung magsi-swimming pa kami sa Bolinao falls at babalik sa inn para makapag-wash up.

Because it's already past 9:00 AM!!!

Actually walang nasunod dito. Hahahaha!
Napakiusapan namin si Ate to extend our checkout time up to 2:00 PM, as long as wala daw ibang magchi-check in that day.

From the inn, pinakaunang madadaanan namin is the Cape Bolinao Light house, then the Enchanted Cave at ang pinakamalayo is the Bolinao Falls.

Dahil Pabeeda kami, inuna naming puntahan yung pinakamalayo with a plan na isa-isa naming dadaanan yung iba pabalik dahil along the way naman. (Oh gosh, no, this was a bad idea. You'll know why as you read further.)

Quarter to 10:00 AM na rin kami nakaalis. And more than an hour din ang biniyahe namin para makarating sa Bolinao Falls I.

P20 ang entrance fee and P50 ang life vest. P5 ang comfort room.

May mga kubo na pwedeng rentahan and may tables din, but iniwan na lang namin sa sasakyan yung ibang gamit namin. Talagang swimming lang ang ipinunta namin doon. Wala nga rin kaming dalang pamalit because we intended na sa inn na rin magwash up pagbalik namin. Tuwalya na lang ang dala. Hahaha

The thrill is yung pagtalon sa falls.

New experience for me!

Jump at your own risk. xD

But it was a great experience!

Hahaha)

At dahil may umaalma:

Credits to the driver sa pagpilit sa aking tumalon.
Kaming dalawa lang ang sumubok and I repeat, ang tagal niyang tumalon. Tig-30 minutes each ata? 😆

Sorry Diane! 😝

Past 2:00 PM na kami nakabalik and fortunately wala namang nag-check in na iba so nakapag-wash up pa kami and nagcheckout around 4:00 PM. (Ambait talaga ni Ate. Thank you!)

And! We stopped by the Saint James the Great Parish Church nung pauwi na kami.

So long story short, hindi rin nasunod yung itinerary na pinaghirapan ni Diane. Hahahaha 😂

Peace! ✌️
